Now more beautiful than ever, the Paper Doll House has moved to a glorious new location to serve you better. Lawns lead from all directions up a gentle knoll to this outstanding late Victorian Queen Anne home in Sycamore, IL, the new home of the Paper Doll House. This was formerly the Townsend home -- built in 1893 by civic leader Charles O Boynton as a wedding present to his only daughter Mary and son-in-law Frederick B. Townsend.
Only an hour from O'Hare Airport and minutes away from I-88, this elegant home now hosts the guests of the Paper Doll House in gracious living space in the peace of a charming community.
Weekend Scrapbook Retreats
Work on your scrapbooks for an entire weekend in our spacious crop room with 11 foot ceilings and full-length windows.
- Stay in one of six darling guestrooms.
- Relax on the spectacular wrap porch.
- Enjoy afternoon tea in the garden.
- Stroll or pedal our tandem along the historic route.

From Friday afternoon thru Sunday you will be spoiled and indulged with scrapbooking treats and personal surprises. Our all-inclusive fee includes lodging, meals and use of our equipment for the entire weekend. All you need to pack is your jammies, photos and supplies. Check in time is Friday 2:00 p.m. and then linger through 4 p.m. Sunday!

SPECIAL - Three-Night Crop Events
Several special three-night crop events have been scheduled. For $375. per guest, you can join us for 4 days and three nights. The price includes tea on Thursday, breakfast and dinner on Friday, three meals on Saturday and brunch on Sunday. Call if you are interested in turning any of our scheduled weekends into a Three-Night Crop Event. The expanded weekend option was requested by so many of you we decided to bring it to the new location!
